Oregon High School Basketball - Imbler can't hold off La Grande
December 29, 2023: La Grande, OR 97850 The La Grande Tigers basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Imbler Panthers to 62 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nyssa for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. La Grande will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cove (Cove, OR). The Leopards come into the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 12-3 record.
