California High School Basketball - Vista del Lago holds off Perris
January 6, 2010: Moreno Valley, CA 92551 Vista del Lago Ravens (Moreno Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Perris Panthers (Perris, CA), 58-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Vista del Lago upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Ravens host Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA) to play the Vikings in a Inland Valley bout on Thursday, January 7. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Moreno Valley lost 57-40 in their recent league bout against Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 8. Perris will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 85-60 non-league win over Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA).
