Louisiana High School Football - Kaplan routs Franklin
September 17, 2010: Franklin, LA 70538 The Kaplan Pirates football squad scored 48 points and restricted the host Franklin Hornets to 12 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North DeSoto for a non-league battle on Friday, September 24. Kaplan will play a Griffins squad coming off a 46-18 non-league win over Southwood (Shreveport, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 2-1.
Coming up next, the Hornets play the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 23. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 46-0 non-league win over St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA).
