Florida High School Basketball - Port St. Lucie ripped by Treasure Coast
January 6, 2009: Port St. Lucie, FL 34953 The Treasure Coast basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Port St. Lucie Jaguars to 36 in the league triumph on Tuesday.
The now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bayside for a 5A District 13 contest on Friday, January 9. Treasure Coast will meet a Bears team coming off a 64-51 non-league loss to Cocoa (Cocoa, FL). The Bears record now stands at 6-6.
The Jaguars (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sebastian River (Sebastian, FL). The Sharks enter the 5A District 13 contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Sebastian River trounced Vero Beach (Vero Beach, FL), 42-40, in a non-league contest.
