Ohio High School Basketball - South tops Wilmington
January 14, 2023: Columbus, OH 43206 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Bulldogs (Columbus, OH) and the visiting Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), saw South's basketball squad knock off Wilmington by a count of 62-49.
With the victory, South upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Eastmoor Academy (Columbus, OH) to play the Warriors in a Columbus City - South challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Eastmoor Academy lost 52-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH)
Next up, the Hurricane play the Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Courthouse, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Wilmington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 64-43 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH).
