Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Antietam overwhelms Palisades
January 3, 2023: Kintnersville, PA 18930 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Antietam Mountaineers (Reading, PA) and the host Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), saw Antietam's basketball squad wallop Palisades by a tally of 54-26.
With the victory, Antietam improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA) to confront the Bullets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Bullets come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Brandywine Heights Area lost 57-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Linville Hill (Paradise, PA)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) in a Colonial - East challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Palisades will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Green Knights come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 57-37 non-league win over Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ).
