Academy Charter (Lake Como, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Roselle Park Panthers (Roselle Park, NJ), 73-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Academy Charter upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Somerset Tech Jaguars (Bridgewater, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Roselle Park will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 62-30 non-league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ).
