Illinois High School Basketball - Thornton Fractional South fells Romeoville
December 14, 2022: Romeoville, IL 60446 Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 63-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Thornton Fractional South upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Red Wolves host Lemont (Lemont, IL) to play the Lemont HS in a South Suburban - Blue bout on Thursday, December 15. The Lemont HS go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Lemont won 40-18 in their recent non-league bout against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL)
Next up, the Spartans play the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - East bout, on Thursday, December 15. Romeoville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 69-29 league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL).
