Connecticut High School Basketball - Coventry nudges Rockville
February 7, 2024: Vernon, CT 06066 Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT), 38-31 in a league bout.
With the win, Coventry upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Patriots host Somers (Somers, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a North Central Connecticut bout on Friday, February 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Somers won 66-51 in their recent league bout against Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT)
Next up, the Rams clash with the East Windsor Panthers (East Windsor, CT) in a North Central Connecticut bout, on Friday, February 9. Rockville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 51-34 league loss to Granby Memorial (Granby, CT).
