Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Potomac upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD) to clash with the Eagles in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Douglass lost 72-60 in their recent non-league bout against Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Parkdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Pumas go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 72-60 non-league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD).
