Next up, the Coyotes battle the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 3. Heritage will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX).
With the loss, Trinity Christian moves to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers host All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX) to battle the Trojans in a TAPPS 4A District 2 contest on Tuesday, September 7. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
