The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) and the visiting Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC), observed Gilbert's football squad bounce Pelion by a count of 56-3.

The Indians now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Gilbert will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 23. Pelion will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
