With the victory, Columbus improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX) to confront the Shorthorns in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Shorthorns come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Schulenburg lost 46-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Brazos (Wallis, TX)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Snook will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 46-30 non-league loss to Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX).
