Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Farrell nips Neshannock
December 15, 2018: Farrell, PA 16121 Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA), 70-68 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Farrell upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Steelers host Rocky River (Rocky River, OH) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 29. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 4-0.
Next up, the Lancers play the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 bout, on Wednesday, December 19. Neshannock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 69-40 league loss to Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA).
