Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty Christian tops Hargrave Military Academy

December 11, 2014: Chatham, VA 24531

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) and the host Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), saw Liberty Christian's basketball squad knock off Hargrave Military Academy by a tally of 67-55.

With the victory, Liberty Christian improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Millwood (Midlothian, VA) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 19. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.

Next up, the Tigers play the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) in a VISAA Division 2 challenge, on Saturday, December 13. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 58-55 league win over Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA).
