Texas High School Basketball - Celina crushes Greenwood
December 30, 2023: Celina, TX 75009 Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX), 62-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Celina upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region II District 11 bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-8. Van Alstyne won 60-36 in their recent non-league bout against Chisum (Paris, TX)
Next up, the Rangers play the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Greenwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 69-39 non-league loss to City View (Wichita Falls, TX).
