Maryland High School Basketball - Lansdowne ripped by New Town
January 11, 2012: Owings Mills, MD 21117 The New Town basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Lansdowne Vikings to 43 in the league triumph on Wednesday.
The now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owings Mills for a Baltimore County 2A/1A contest on Friday, January 13. New Town will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 59-37 league win over Dundalk (Baltimore, MD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
The Vikings (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sparrows Point (Baltimore, MD). The Pointers enter the Baltimore County 2A/1A contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Sparrows Point was routed by Randallstown (Randallstown, MD), 86-37, in a league contest.
