September 25, 2021: Marion, OH 43302 The Pleasant Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting North Union Wildcats to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 28. Pleasant will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Ontario (Mansfield, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.
The Wildcats (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH). The Golden Gophers enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Ridgemont was dropped by Temple Christian (Lima, OH), 2-1, in a league game.
