California High School Basketball - Bakersfield tops Fresno

Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Fresno Warriors (Fresno, CA), 63-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bakersfield upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Drillers host East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Blades in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 5. The Blades come into the bout with a record of 2-1. East Bakersfield lost 49-44 in their recent non-league bout against Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Clovis Cougars (Clovis, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 4. Fresno will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 60-44 non-league win over Camarillo (Camarillo, CA).
