November 15, 2013: Westwood, MA 02090 In Friday's non-league game, the Xaverian Brothers Hawks (Westwood, MA) football team tipped the visiting Attleboro Bombardiers (Attleboro, MA), by a final score of 35-28.
The Hawks (10-1) will now prepare for their game against St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA). The Eagles come into the Catholic game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, St. John's Prep got by Methuen (Methuen, MA), 41-21, in a non-league game.
The Bombardiers now hold a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Attleborough for a Hockomock - Kelley/Rex game on Thursday, November 28. Attleboro will battle a Rocketeers team coming off a 39-36 non-league win over Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA). The Rocketeers record now stands at 7-4.
