West Virginia High School Football - Point Pleasant held off by Brooke
September 28, 2012: Point Pleasant, WV 25550 In Friday's non-league game, the Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV) football team tipped the host Point Pleasant Knights (Point Pleasant, WV), by a final score of 34-33.
The Bruins (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots come into the Ohio Valley AAAAA game with a 3-3 record.
The Knights now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league game on Friday, October 5. Point Pleasant will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 20-0 league win over Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-1.
