Louisiana High School Basketball - Doyle tops Central Catholic
December 15, 2023: Morgan City, LA 70380 Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), 54-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Doyle upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-4.
Next up, the Eagles play the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 39-27 non-league win over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA).
