March 21, 2016: St. Michaels, MD 21663 The St. Michaels Saints baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Washington Jaguars to 1 in the Saints non-league victory on Monday.
The Saints (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Kent County (Worton, MD). The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Kent County notched a victory over Mardela (Mardela Springs, MD), 11-3, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Washington falls to 0-1 on the season. The Jaguars host Cambridge-South Dorchester (Cambridge, MD) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 23. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
