April 11, 2009: Alexander City, AL 35010 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) and the visiting Etowah Blue Devils (Attalla, AL), saw Russell's baseball squad knock off Etowah by a count of 12-1.
Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 17. Russell will attempt to move on its 17-11 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 19-13 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Prattville (Prattville, AL).
The Blue Devils now possess a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clay-Chalkville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 14. Etowah will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 20-10.
