Vashon Wolverines (St. Louis, MO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Miller Career Academy (St. Louis, MO), 49-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Vashon upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 3. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 20-5. Cardinal Ritter College Prep won 75-21 in their recent non-league bout against Metro (St. Louis, MO)
