Indiana High School Football - Ben Davis held off by Center Grove
September 28, 2012: Indianapolis, IN 46214 Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Ben Davis Giants (Indianapolis, IN), 17-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Center Grove improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to North Central (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Panthers in a Metropolitan test on Friday, October 5. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-5. North Central won 24-8 in their recent league test against South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN)
With the loss, Ben Davis moves to 6-1 on the season. The Giants travel to Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Wildcats in a Metropolitan contest on Friday, October 5. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 0-7. Lawrence North lost 45-13 in their recent league contest against North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN)
