Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA), 81-78 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sterling upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Rangers host Northeast Christian (Kingwood, TX) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Northeast Christian lost 55-51 in their recent non-league bout against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX)
