Pennsylvania High School Football - Highlands trounces Burrell
October 10, 2014: Natrona Heights, PA 15065 In Friday's non-league match, the host Highlands Golden Rams football squad scored a big 55-7 victory over the Burrell Bucs.
In their next game, the Golden Rams clash with the Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. Highlands will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 34-19 league loss to Kittanning (Kittanning, PA).
With the loss, Burrell drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Freeport (Freeport, PA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a WPIAL AA Allegheny test on Friday, October 17. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 3-4. Freeport lost 49-20 in their recent league test against Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA)
