Maine High School Baseball - Portland loses to Thornton Academy
April 21, 2023: Saco, ME 04072 The Thornton Academy Trojans baseball team scored 24 runs and limited the visiting Portland Bulldogs to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Scots go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Bonny Eagle gained a win over Noble (Berwick, ME), 13-3, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Windham (Windham, ME). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Windham was overwhelmed by Sanford (Sanford, ME), 7-0, in a non-league match.
