Ohio High School Basketball - Liberty-Benton holds off Bryan
January 29, 2022: Bryan, OH 43506 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Liberty-Benton Eagles (Findlay, OH) and the host Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH), saw Liberty-Benton's basketball squad hold off Bryan by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Liberty-Benton improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH) to confront the Rockets in a Blanchard Valley challenge on Thursday, February 3. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Pandora-Gilboa lost 55-21 in their recent non-league contest against Kalida (Kalida, OH)
The Golden Bears (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Van Wert (Van Wert, OH). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Van Wert edged Shawnee (Lima, OH), 57-48, in a league contest.
