Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) and the host Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS), saw Lafayette's basketball squad overcome Olive Branch by a count of 52-38.

With the victory, Lafayette upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Commodores host Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to play the Golden Wave in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 11. The Golden Wave come into the challenge with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Conquistadors play the Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 11. Olive Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
