Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE) and the host Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE), saw Wakefield's basketball squad overcome Ponca by a tally of 60-48.

With the victory, Wakefield improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Lawton-Bronson lost 50-27 in their recent league challenge against Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA)
