March 26, 2022: Fresno, CA 93710 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) and the host Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), saw Merced's volleyball squad beat Hoover by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Merced upgrades its record to 12-4 on the year. The Bears travel to McLane (Fresno, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 26. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. McLane lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Reedley (Reedley, CA)
The Patriots now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Reedley for a bout on Tuesday, April 5.
