Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Almont Raiders (Almont, MI) and the visiting Dryden Cardinals (Dryden, MI), saw Almont's basketball squad hold off Dryden by a tally of 58-55.

With the victory, Almont improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Brandon (Ortonville, MI) to confront the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Brandon lost 72-48 in their recent league challenge against Lake Fenton (Linden, MI)
