Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL), 77-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Hattiesburg won 63-53 in their recent non-league bout against Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 15. Sumter Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
