The Sedgwick County Cougars basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Akron Rams to 43 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caliche for a 2A/1A Lower Platte contest on Saturday, February 6. Sedgwick County will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 73-48 league loss to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 10-4.

The Rams (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wray (Wray, CO). The Eagles enter the 2A/1A Lower Platte contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Wray was routed by Merino (Merino, CO), 66-51, in a league contest.
