Connecticut High School Basketball - Waterford overwhelms Montville
February 6, 2024: Oakdale, CT 06370 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) and the host Montville Wolves (Oakdale, CT), saw Waterford's basketball squad wallop Montville by a tally of 49-24.
With the victory, Waterford improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Killingly (Killingly, CT) to confront the Redmen in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Redmen come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Killingly won 58-50 in their recent league challenge against Griswold (Griswold, CT)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Montville will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 64-43 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, CT).
