Missouri High School Basketball - Putnam County overwhelms King City
December 22, 2023: King City, MO 64463 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Putnam County Midgets (Unionville, MO) and the host King City Wildkats (King City, MO), saw Putnam County's basketball squad wallop King City by a tally of 65-44.
With the victory, Putnam County improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Midgets travel to South Harrison (Bethany, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a Grand River challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.
Next up, the Wildkats confront the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MO) in a Grand River West challenge, on Friday, January 5. King City will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
