Virginia High School Softball - Fleming bested by Glass
April 24, 2023: Lynchburg, VA 24501 The Glass Hilltoppers routed the visiting Fleming Colonels softball squad by a final score of 17-1 in Monday's non-league test.
Coming up next, the Hilltoppers encounter the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) in a Seminole test, on Thursday, April 27. Glass will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 6-8 record after their 8-7 league loss to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA).
The Colonels (0-11) will now prepare for their test against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers come into the Blue Ridge test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, William Byrd was routed by Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 10-7, in a league test.
