The Muncie Central Bearcats basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears to 32 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bearcats now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCutcheon for a contest on Friday, February 16.

The Golden Bears (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN). The Argylls enter the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Madison-Grant nudged Eastern (Greentown, IN), 41-36, in a non-league contest.
