Virginia High School Basketball - Colonial Forge knocked off by Godwin
December 20, 2022: Stafford, VA 22554 The Godwin Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Colonial Forge Eagles to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlottesville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Godwin will battle a Black Knights team coming off a 52-50 league loss to Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 5-1.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Westmoreland ran past West Point (West Point, VA), 46-24, in a non-league contest.
