East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX), 9-5 in a league test.

With the win, East Central upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Thunderbirds in a 6A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, March 30. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 3-14. Wagner lost 15-4 in their recent league test against Steele (Cibolo, TX)

With the defeat, South San Antonio falls to 7-7 on the season. The Bobcats host Judson (Converse, TX) to battle the Rockets in a 6A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, March 30. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 6-8. Judson won 7-1 in their recent league test against Clemens (Schertz, TX)
