The La Serna Lancers nipped the visiting Centennial Huskies softball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Lancers (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Whittier (Whittier, CA). The Cardinals go into the Del Rio battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Whittier held off Glendale (Glendale, CA), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
