Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), 85-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Charlotte Country Day School upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 5-3. Weddington lost 61-46 in their recent non-league test against Providence (Charlotte, NC)

The Bishops now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Gaston Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Virginia Episcopal School will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Greenforest (Decatur, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
