The Grant Cougars basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Montgomery Tigers to 38 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league match on Thursday, December 13. Grant will confront a Gators team coming off a 52-25 non-league loss to Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Gators record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Montgomery moves to 2-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bolton (Alexandria, LA) to confront the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, December 13. The Bears enter the match with a record of 3-3. Bolton lost 49-32 in their recent non-league match against Jena (Jena, LA)
