The Palmer Dragons basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Bruce Trojans to 45 in the Dragons league triumph on Thursday.

The Dragons now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Water Valley for a 2A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Palmer will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 69-30 league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-12.

The Trojans (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Houlka (Houlka, MS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Houlka was routed by West Union (Myrtle, MS), 70-55, in a league contest.
