Indiana High School Soccer - Northview overwhelmed by Southmont

The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) and the host Northview Knights (Brazil, IN), saw Southmont's soccer squad triumph over Northview by a count of 7-0.

The Mounties now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Montgomery for a Sagamore test on Tuesday, August 30. Southmont will meet a Chargin' Chargers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Western Boone (Thorntown, IN). The Chargin' Chargers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Northview drops to 1-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Greencastle (Greencastle, IN) to meet the Tiger Cubs in a Western Indiana test on Thursday, September 1. The Tiger Cubs come into the test with a record of 2-2. Greencastle lost 1-0 in their recent league test against North Putnam (Roachdale, IN)
