August 25, 2023: Santa Maria, CA 93454 In Friday's non-league game, the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) football team knocked off the host Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA), by a score of 22-0.
The Royals (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Spartans come into the game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Rio Mesa was dropped by Camarillo (Camarillo, CA), 18-14, in a non-league game.
The Saints now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Templeton for a game on Friday, September 22.
