The Spring Mills Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Dunbar Wolverines to 37 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a Eastern Panhandle contest on Tuesday, January 30. Spring Mills will meet a Patriots team coming off a 46-31 league loss to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 7-6.

The Wolverines (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ponitz Career Tech (Dayton, OH). The Golden Panthers enter the Dayton Public contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Ponitz Career Tech was defeated by Northmont (Clayton, OH), 51-40, in a non-league contest.
