North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC), 25-12 in a league test.

With the win, North Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 8-9. Salisbury won 20-2 in their recent non-league test against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)

With the defeat, Chambers falls to 4-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Lions in a Queen City 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 16. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-9. West Charlotte lost 13-12 in their recent league test against Harding University (Charlotte, NC)
